Plant collection in the field wit 'helpful' spectators
The Network includes partner institutions from seven Latin American countries that support significant areas of dry forest: Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico and is coordinated by Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

Each is well-connected to floristic research in dry forest their countries and therefore well placed to co-ordinate the gathering of data from existing floristic surveys and to submit it to a central database. In addition to this principal task, each has good links to relevant actors in conservation in their countries and will ensure that the outputs of the DRYFLOR network are communicated to them.
