Ecology Center, Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC), Venezuela. The IVIC research team is part of the Venezuela-DRYFLOR group along with Ricarda Riina (RJB-CSIC) and Gerardo Aymard (UNELLEZ), all under the coordination of Laurie Fajardo. Members of the IVIC team have conducted research on different aspects of dry forest in Venezuela, including floristics, ecology, conservation biology and restoration.

Ricarda Riina is a plant systematist who has worked in biodiversity inventories, taxonomic revisions, floras and checklists in the Neotropics and Venezuela in particular.
 
Gerardo Aymard
Universidad Nacional Experimental de Los Llanos Ezequiel Zamora (UNELLEZ), Guanare, Venezuela. Gerardo Aymard is a plant systematist who has participated in many botanical expeditions in Venezuela and Colombia. He and conducted studies of flora and structure of forests, including dry forests.
